Product Restrictions

BlackStar Survival is committed to complying with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the sale and shipment of firearms, ammunition, pepper spray, stun guns, and body armor. Below are the specific restrictions for each product category. Please review these restrictions carefully before making a purchase.

Firearms

  • Federal Law Compliance: All firearm sales must comply with federal law, including the requirement for background checks conducted through a licensed firearm dealer (FFL).
  • State-Specific Restrictions:
    • California: Certain models are prohibited, and all firearms must be shipped to an FFL for transfer. Magazine capacity is limited to 10 rounds.
    • Connecticut: Requires a state permit or certificate to purchase a firearm. Certain models are prohibited.
    • Hawaii: Firearms must be shipped to an FFL. Specific models and features are restricted.
    • Illinois: Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card required. Specific local restrictions apply.
    • Maryland: Handguns must be on the approved handgun roster. Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.
    • Massachusetts: Firearms must be on the state’s approved roster. Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.
    • New Jersey: Purchasers must have a firearm purchaser identification card or permit to purchase a handgun. Magazines are limited to 10 rounds.
    • New York: Certain models are prohibited. Magazine capacity is limited to 10 rounds.
    • Washington D.C.: All firearms must be registered, and certain models are prohibited.

Ammunition

  • Federal Law Compliance: No sales to individuals under 18 years for rifle or shotgun ammunition or under 21 years for handgun ammunition.
  • State-Specific Restrictions:
    • California: All ammunition sales must be conducted through a licensed ammunition vendor. Background checks are required.
    • Connecticut: Purchasers must have a valid permit or certificate.
    • Illinois: FOID card required. Local restrictions apply.
    • Massachusetts: Purchasers must have a valid firearm permit.
    • New Jersey: Purchasers must have a firearm purchaser identification card or permit to purchase a handgun.
    • New York: Ammunition sales must be conducted through a licensed dealer.

Pepper Spray

  • State-Specific Restrictions:
    • California: Pepper spray containers must be 2.5 ounces or less.
    • Massachusetts: Purchasers must have a firearm identification card.
    • Michigan: Pepper spray must not contain more than 10% oleoresin capsicum.
    • New York: Pepper spray must be purchased from a licensed pharmacist or firearms dealer.
    • Wisconsin: Pepper spray must not contain more than 10% oleoresin capsicum, and containers must be less than 2 ounces.

Stun Guns

  • State-Specific Restrictions:
    • Connecticut: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • Hawaii: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • Illinois: Purchasers must have a FOID card.
    • Massachusetts: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • Michigan: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • New Jersey: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • New York: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • Rhode Island: Stun guns are prohibited.
    • Washington D.C.: Stun guns are prohibited.

Body Armor

  • Federal Law Compliance: It is illegal for convicted felons to purchase or possess body armor.
  • State-Specific Restrictions:
    • Connecticut: Purchasers must complete a face-to-face transaction.
    • New York: Sales are restricted to individuals in specific professions (e.g., law enforcement).
