Sensible and useful for any home-owner
I bought this as a guide for future and likely weather related emergencies. I live on the East Coast, near the water and seeing how recent weather events have taken out power, water and other essential utilities in even places like NYC, it seemed prudent to plan ahead. These events won't be slowing down I expect, and I'll take the philosophy of Hope for the best, but plan for the worst. Not that I have ever been totally unprepared, but this guide helped me and the family think longer term. This book really should almost be one of those things that should be given out free by civil defense or emergency preparedness workers (even at fire stations). In any case, it's inexpensive and worth every penny, assuming you actually use it wisely.
